Happy Birthday Titanic Home Page! 1 year old 11th May 1996!!!

Yes the hilariously cool Titanic Home Page is 1 year old! Well a lot has happened in a year, from our humble beginings to the page that now attracts just under 1000 visitors a week. There have been a lot of firsts in my first year on the net and this the first year for the Titanic Home Page, here are some I would like to share...

My first Titanic feedback entry was from...Steven Austin!

Here is the exact mail that I got. I was very excited when I got this message, as it was one of the first messages I ever recieved from someone that I didn't actually know before....

I have a younger friend(14) who is great fan of titanic history, I would love to download as many pixs and history for him as are available. I am new totto the net, still learning to browse all topics available. thanks

And my reply was...

Hi Steven, This is Rohan. Thanks for the feed back on my page! Sorry! At the moment I have no scanned pictures of the Titanic, as I don't have a scanner, but hopefully if I get on to my Dad, I will use the one at his work! I will get back onto you soon! Thanks again.

Steven...I hope you have visited this site many more times...you win... NOTHING! Sorry!

The very first version of the Titanic Home Page....

Sorry for the quality of this image, no it's not your eyesight going...my fault.

Basically the page said I like the Titanic and reccomended a few books, pretty hopeless hey?! It was a section of my very first page called the Dalgarry Home Page. It had such sections as...a cooking page which had my favourite recipes, an Internet Magazine and other stuff about me!

To view the Dalgarry Page click here!

And now for a world exclusive.....

Stay tuned as I reveal the URL to my very first page...before I got a Turnpike account... it was sent painstakingly to a friend in Rockhampton as e-mail attachments....

Ladies and Gentlemen I present....the very virst Titanic Home Page.
